London high streets entice pop-ups with cheap rent!

No one benefits from premises standing empty.

On London high streets, 1 in 20 stores were empty in 2009, 1 in 6 are empty today. Some of the those empty spaces are given for pop-ups. They are financed by European funding and local councils, and advertizeds with flyers and on website. Some are rented out for just £1 ($1.62 American Dollars) a week, with hopes that the tenants will run into quick success and stay for longer under normal rent prices.
