In a marketing move that will be very hard to miss this month, Harrods Estates has launched a pop-up store in arguably the most famous shop window in all the world. For the first time in 115 years, the prime estate agency will be showcasing its wares inside the eponymous department store and we hear the new concept has already received two substantial instructions.
The pop-up project is a collaboration between Harrods’ interior design service, The Studio, and Harrods Estates, designed to highlight the “complete home solutions” offered to HNW buyers and marking somewhat of a return to the estate agency’s roots – it was originally opened as a subsidiary company of Harrods Ltd in 1897, tucked away behind the furnishings department on the ground floor of the store.
