Contemperary furniture store and homemade retailer join forces and open a quick pop-up in Los Angeles.
West Elm, which has showcased Etsy sellers in its catalog for years, on Saturday will host a pop-up Etsy shop at its Beverly Boulevard store featuring the work of L.A. artisans.
Stylist Emily Henderson curated the event, which also will feature a DJ, food from Heirloom LA and a Smilebooth from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m
“Even though I shop at big-box stores, I don’t want the stuff that everyone else has,” Henderson said. “That is the benefit of buying handmade things.”
